BOYS BASKETBALL: Braves On The Rise With Big Win

CALEDONIA — The Avon Braves defeated the Cal-Mum Raiders 43-28 in both teams first league game of the season. For Avon, Connor Taylor led the Braves with 10 points. Aaron Ghent added 9 points and worked the boards for 22 rebounds. LIVONIA — The Livonia Bulldogs fell to the Byron Bergen Bees 63-62. A miscommunication in backcourt by the Bulldogs gave the Bees the ball with a 1 point lead and 22 seconds left on the clock. GENESEO – A Geneseo Police Officer caught the below dashcam footage of the pickup truck who crashed into the bear fountain and then a building Sunday night. Officer Benjamin Swanson just happened to be behind driver Paul Stevenson when Stevenson crashed into the fountain and abruptly swerved left into 70 Main Street.
