WOMENS BASKETBALL: Geneseo Keeps On Winning

GENESEO — The SUNY Geneseo women's basketball team won its 14th straight to open the season with a 55-54 win over Fredonia at home Saturday afternoon. McKenna Brooks had another strong game for the Knights with 14 points and eight rebounds. GENESEO — The SUNY Geneseo men's basketball team lost its second straight Saturday with a 68-62 defeat to Fredonia. John Decker scored a game-high 20 points for the Knights who led by more than 10 points at parts of the first half. Justin Ringen had 12 points and CJ Burke added 11 points for Geneseo. GENESEO — The SUNY Geneseo men's hockey team scored three goals in the second and third periods to breeze by Lebanon Valley 7-2 last night at home. The Knights' senior guard Justin Ringen's season-high 27 points were not enough for Geneseo who were victimized by Buffalo State's top scorer.
